Hike around the farm, around the lake, up to the alpine pasture, and into the Carinthian mountains. Hiking in Austria is all about beautiful nature and well-marked trails for all ages.
Some farm and cottage holidays have swimming lakes for summer fun in the water. With private jetties for boating and jumping off, and sunbathing lawns for relaxing. And because it’s Austria, the water is usually of drinking water quality!
Carinthia has many wonderful biking trails and your farm and cottage holiday is likely to have easy access to lakeside loop tracks and adventurous mountain bike trails. And of course you can bike around the farm itself, saying hello to the animals as you go!
