Enjoyable bike routes around the lakes, including the lake icon Klopeiner See, the art and culture bike path in Bleiburg, an e-bike tour to the sunny place of Diex and the imposing fortified churches of the Saualpe or along the Drau cycle path - there is something for everyone on 2,000 km of cycle paths. Special trails from easy to difficult in the MTB ZONE Bikepark Petzen or an underground bike tour in the Karawanken UNESCO Global Geopark make your adventure vacation perfect.
The Carinthian Lake Loop takes you on this 28 km long section through a breathtaking southern Carinthian landscape. You circle around three of the 11 ½ lakes directly on this bike tour. Just a few of the numerous highlights are the former Augustinian monastery in Eberndorf, the Gösselsdorfer See known for its healing power and the warmest bathing lake in Europe, the Klopeiner See.

The Lavanttal can rightly be described as THE culinary region of Carinthia. It has been a proud Slow Food Travel Destination since October 2020 and is deeply committed to this title. Delicious specialities from local producers such as asparagus, garlic, wine, vinegar, cider, apple juice, brandies, fish, cheese, oils and much more can be sampled and purchased right at the farm shops.
