In summer Lake Brennsee is a paradise for sailors and windsurfers, who can count on the necessary wind strength. And it is the perfect place for pursuing numerous other fun and trend sports too, such as tennis, inline skating, Nordic walking, archery, riding, fishing or cycling. For 20 years now, the cycling experiences here have ranged from 2000-metre-summit rides or challenging single trail descents to leisurely family cycling. Feld am See is also known for its fish breeding – a large fish festival is celebrated in summer every year.
In winter Lake Brennsee acquires a thick blanket of ice, making it a paradise for skaters. On selected dates you can also go ice surfing, play ice golf, try ice sailing, traditional curling and play ice tennis. Skiers get their money’s worth in the nearby World Cup location of Bad Kleinkirchheim; the Ski Ice Express takes guests there free of charge.
