The municipality of Mühldorf in the Möll Valley offers an adventure for all ages with the Barbarossaschlucht gorge. On the fantastically beautiful path through the gorge, you can discover and enjoy breathtaking beauties of nature and thundering waterfalls.
But this is not just an area for impassioned nature lovers: climbers will relish “The Rock” in Mühldorf, the largest indoor climbing centre in Southern Austria, with an area of 1,200 m². Cycling through picturesque scenery, mountain biking, rafting on the Möll, delicious food and the local customs that are still kept alive complete the range of leisure facilities on offer.
In winter the Möll Valley can be tackled with the ski bus which links the Mölltaler Gletscher, Ankogel, Heiligenblut and Goldeck together.
