A glorious view of the Kreuzeck group and the Lienz Dolomites awaits here. It is also a popular starting point for various hiking trails, such as the fourth stage of the long-distance Alpe-Adria-Trail, which is easily identifiable by the three eye-catching information pillars. The entire tour leads from the Grossglockner via Carinthia, Slovenia and Friuli Venezia Giulia to the Upper Adriatic.
From the Lainacher Kuhalm at 1,416 metres above sea level, there is one of the most beautiful views of the municipality of Rangersdorf and the mountain world of the Möll Valley. Guests at the Ronahütte mountain lodge can enjoy not only a hearty Carinthian cold platter, but also home-made cheese in a traditional atmosphere.
