In the heart of the fantastic mountain setting of the Hohe Tauern National Park is the municipality of Reißeck. Holidaymakers and visitors can enjoy a wide range of options here – from hiking through a natural mountain landscape that might have come straight from a picture book, leisurely or sporty cycling, to white water rides on the River Möll.
Hikers and mountain lovers should be sure not to miss a ride on the Kreuzeckbahn funicular, which takes visitors to the Roßwiese reservoir mountain station around 1,200 metres above sea level. From here there are countless options for exploring the mountain world.
