Rosegg

A special destination for family outings is the near-nature Rosegg wildlife park and Rosegg Castle, which contains Austria’s first “figure cabinet” and the largest garden maze in Austria. Another popular destination is the open-air “Celtic World Frög” museum, where the mysterious age of the Hallstatt culture 3,000 years ago is brought back to life. In an area of five hectares, visitors learn all about the way of life and view of the world at this time, and there are also regularly changing special exhibitions from the Regional Museum of Carinthia.
