Cyclists have the choice between pleasure cycling on the Lavant and Drau Cycle Path, or 450 kilometres of marked mountain bike tours with unforgettable views, for example:
Via Carinzia - a 162 km cycling experience, offering recreation and history in the mild climate of the southern side of the Alps, from the Rosental Valley, via Lake Klopeiner See and Southern Carinthia, all the way to the border with the province of Styria in the Lavant Valley. And the focus is on enjoyment, rather than performance. In the Lavant Valley the Via Carinzia runs along the Lavant Cycle Path, which is the main artery of the region’s biking network, inviting cyclists to enjoy a variety of tours through the Carinthian cultural landscape. And 450 kilometres of marked mountain bike tours with unforgettable views are sure to be met with enthusiasm by keen bikers!
