The Katschberg tourism region lies on the border between Carinthia and Salzburg, on the southern side of the main ridge of the Alps between 1,150 and 2,220 metres above sea level.
The sunshine already feels more southern here, and the approach to life is shaped by a southern lightness. This is a region where you can breathe deeply and easily in air that is free from allergens, where there is a wealth of sunshine, established as a top destination for family holidays on the sunny side of the Alps.
