Harry’s Bike Tours

Harry Pucher and his team will take you on their favourite tours which you won’t find on any road map, and reveal their secret spots and favourite restaurants. These hardcore bikers know the area like the back of their hand and offer guided bike tours together. Joining in the guided bike tours is free for Motorradland Kärnten guests!

Which tours are on the programme?

The Carinthia-Slovenia-Friuli cross-border triangle is our flagship tour, and you can look forward to delicious food on every trip. There are also themed tours, such as the “Prosciutto Tour” to the ham town of San Daniele, the “First World War Tour” through the Isonzo Valley or a “Chocolate and Castle Tour” through Central Carinthia with a visit to the Craigher chocolate factory.

When and where do the tours start?

From the beginning of April to the beginning of October, we lead three exciting tours each week. They are between 150 and 300 km long, start at 9.30am and are scheduled to return between 4 and 6pm. On Mondays we set off on our journey from Gmünd in the Liesertal-Maltatal region. On Wednesdays we meet in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See-Lesachtal-Weissensee region and on Fridays in the Villach region. The exact departure points will be announced when you register. In the member establishments of the Motorradland Kärnten association, an information sheet is published every week with details of the current tours for the week.

Are the tours free for everyone?

Guests of ARGE Motorradland member establishments have an advantage, because they can enjoy three free tours per week. We don’t know of any other offer like this anywhere outside of Carinthia. However, other guests and locals are also welcome to come along, of course. The tours are also included in the guest cards of the respective regions or cost 49 euros per tour.

Where to register for the tours?

Registrations must be made by 5pm the day before at Harry’s Bike Tours on the following telephone number: +43 660 9603400.

The tours take place for one person or more and are in smaller groups with a maximum of ten people. However, no one gets left behind, as additional biker guides are available if a tour is fully booked.
